Heavy Metal Brass Band plays metal classics as well as the headbangers of today. We strive to be genre-bending with inspiration from classical, Balkan folk music, and alternative rock. Not a metal fan? You will absolutely find something to love about this symphony of brass music.
Who we are:
Heavy Metal Brass Band was started in California with the goal of shaking up the metal paradigm, yet keeping the intensity and introducing a brand new instrumentation to the genre. After the pandemic, the band was reformed in the heartland of metal, the midwest. The band consists of vocals, drums, tuba, 2 saxophones, 3 trombones, and 2 trumpets, and multi-brasstrumentalist, Shane Cox.
The band is currently recording their first full album for release in 2024, so stay tuned for updates.
