Learning with Shane

Since the beginning of his career, Shane has committed to sharing his knowledge of technique, performance, and theory to students of all ages. Starting in New Orleans, Shane first met a young trombone player pursuing jazz trombone while busking on the streets. After mentoring the student and teaching them about technique, jazz theory, and how to build a practice regiment, teaching has remained passionate about share music students everywhere he’s travelled.

Whether it’s for high school school students pursuing a college scholarship, people that’ve never made a sound on their instrument, and adults returning to playing after decades off, students of all ages have enjoyed success working with Shane. Every student recieves an individualized lesson catered directly to their needs.
